Crownline boats are well known for their sleek, sexy style lines, and this boat is definitely no exception. The standard Forte gelcoat pattern (your choice of two colors) and stainless steel deck accents beautifully accentuate the bowrider’s curvaceous profile. Crownline’s signature F.A.S.T. Tab hull design enhances the distinctive “sports car” styling, and insures a safe and comfortable ride by increasing planning efficiency and stability in high speed turns. The side entry walk-thru leads to an L-shape cockpit with plenty of leg room for your boating buddies. The captain will appreciate the bucket seat with a handy flip up bolster and strategically placed instrumentation at the helm. Crownline designed the passenger seat to face forward (with a standard flip up bolster) or, flip the seatback forward and you have a rear facing seat for lounging for watching the water sports action behind the boat. Numerous standard features of the 225 SS include: bimini top, bow and cockpit canvas, snap-in cockpit carpet, depth sounder, dual battery switch, keychain remote control for courtesy lights, LED cockpit lighting, Kicker stereo and six Wet Sounds speakers, two located on the transom as part of Crownline’s trademarked Social Swim design. There is stainless steel throughout the boat and a standard Heritage tandem axle trailer with swing tongue, LED lights, brakes on both axles and they color-match it to your boat.

Crownline first start building its products in a very small manufacturing facility located in Whittington, IL. The upholstery had to be done in a separately in a vacant grade school gymnasium. 182BR was the first boat to be produced which rolled off the line on March 25, 1991. At the time Crownline employed only 25 people, and had not yet signed a dealer.
 
By July 1991 Crownline had grown out of the Whittington location and was forced to move to a larger facility. After three and half years later in December of 1994 after being temperatorly in the building used by the Mark Twain Boat Company, Crownline new state of the art boat manufacturing plant was completed. This permanent facility was designed for better production efficiency and additional capacity for increase production requirements.
 
Since its beginning, Crownline has successfully introduced models ranging from a 17′6″ open bow to a 34′ cabin cruiser. At present, Crownline has produced and shipped boats to dealers world-wide. Crownline’s professional dealer network consists of 150 marine establishments in the United States, Canada, Europe, South America, Russia and Australia.
